LUNGI SIERRA LEONE CHARITY
We aim to advance education and training, relieve poverty and distress, and promote health within the Tintafor, Kamasondo, Benkeh district of Lungi.
Our Charity centers around the Schools we have built, free Motorbike Ambulance Service, Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, and Community Projects including Prosthetics for Myenie.
Support is crucial to help the villagers to help themselves and through various projects that is what we try to do.

Ambulance Service
Feb 1st 2016 -Free Motorbike Ambulance Service
Sierra Leone has one of the highest mortality rates in the world and the introduction of e-Ranger Motorcycle Ambulances has had a positive impact, being greatly valued by the Community. We provide completely free transport for maternal healthcare, accidents and emergencies, where speed of treatment is crucial. This has complimented the free maternal care provided by Marie Stopes through Dr Sesay at Mahera Hospital and the maternal mortality rate in the area is now significantly lower We have carried more than 1000 patients to hospitals of their choice since start up and provide a 24 hour service with 2 riders. The Jiahling 125 Motorcycles were imported from Sth Africa and are specifically designed to carry patients in a sidecar that offers both a flat bed, or chair suitable for walking wounded, sick and expectant mothers. Rugged, versatile and a success.
2020/2021
- The ambulances are also being used in the outreach vaccination programme - see 'Updates' for photos

by Deputy Minister of Health Dr Anthony Sandi- Solar donations from Germany, the UK and South Africa, enable us to run a Blood Bank and equipment 24/7, a free reliable power supply bringing us closer to providing free diagnostics to the under 5's
and affordable treatment to the local villagers. Canadian Solar and Electric Future came in January and May to install and upgrade the system - amazing!
We have installed a considerable amount of equipment at the Medical Centre and are now running the government free vaccination immunisation and malaria programme - Immunisation of the under 5's began in
